Last night, Saturday, November 7, Love & Marriage: Huntsville hit a milestone the original cast can hardly believe. Season 12, Episode 9, "Arionne Curry-On," aired at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on OWN, and coverage leading into the broadcast — including a new interview with original cast members Kimmi Scott and LaTisha Scott — billed it as the series' 200th installment. After more than seven years of Rocket City real estate deals, friendship tests and kitchen-table showdowns, Huntsville marked the occasion the only way this cast knows how: with another sit-down, more speculation and a hard look at somebody's marriage.

How Season 12 arrived at Episode 9
Season 12 premiered September 12 with "A New Era." The new era has a name: Arionne Curry. She is Martell Holt's partner and the mother of one of his children, and this season she joined the friend group on camera. That introduction was always going to test Martell's close friendship with Destiny Payton. By the time Episode 8, "Holt On to Your Man," aired on Halloween, Martell had brought Arionne and Destiny together to see if they could work through their many differences. Peace treaties are not this group's specialty.
That unfinished business is exactly what "Arionne Curry-On" walked into.
What happened in "Arionne Curry-On"
According to OWN's official description of Season 12, Episode 9, the 200th-episode night unfolded across four storylines.
Arionne sits down with Martell and his mother. After a season of walking into rooms that were not sure they wanted her there, Arionne's story moves from the friend group to Martell's family. A sit-down with mom is a different kind of test than a brunch or an art-gallery showdown. The episode title winks at the moment: Curry is not backing down, and the show is not moving her back off camera.
Marsau, Tisha, Lynn and Sylvia speculate about Martell and Destiny's relationship. This one has been simmering all season. Earlier in Season 12, Martell and Destiny talked about going into real estate together. Then that plan, and the friendship behind it, ran into Arionne's objections, a tense face-off and a controversial text in Episode 7, "Text Mess-age." The rest of the group weighing in is classic Huntsville. Nobody's business stays their business for long.
Nell Fletcher faces a difficult decision about her father's future. Not every storyline this season is about who is speaking to whom. OWN's Season 12 announcement said Chris and Nell Fletcher would face new challenges as Nell became a full-time caregiver to her aging father. Episode 9 puts a decision about his future at the center of her story. The official listing does not say what she decides, and we are not going to guess. It is a reminder that Love & Marriage: Huntsville is still, at heart, a show about families making hard calls.
Marsau confronts Tisha about the current state of their marriage. Of all the Episode 9 beats, this one may be the most on-brand for a series with "Marriage" in the title. Marsau Scott and LaTisha "Tisha" Scott have been part of the core group since the beginning. OWN's season announcement noted that they were approaching their 20-year wedding anniversary this season, even as they navigated the loss of their first residential investment property. On the 200th episode, the official description puts their marriage in the spotlight alongside everyone else's commentary about Martell and Destiny.
A 200-episode night for the original cast
Love & Marriage: Huntsville premiered on January 12, 2019, and has been a Saturday-night fixture on OWN ever since. In an interview published the day before Episode 9 aired, Kimmi Scott and LaTisha Scott told EURweb they never saw this run coming. Kimmi, who came to the show from a background in nursing, called the whole thing surreal. LaTisha remembered being a stay-at-home mom to three children when cameras first started rolling in Huntsville, Alabama, and said they had no idea they would still be here "seven years later, 200-plus episodes."
Kimmi credited the show's staying power to a real friendship among the original cast — "the core six" — rather than a group assembled only for television. LaTisha pointed to the husbands too, saying the men set the series apart by being outspoken about providing for and protecting their families. She also said reality TV will test a marriage and shine a light on anything a couple tries to hide, a comment that lands differently after an episode in which Marsau confronts her about theirs.
The milestone arrives during a strong stretch for the series. In 2026, Love & Marriage: Huntsville won the African American Film Critics Association's inaugural Best Reality Series honor at the AAFCA TV Honors. Coverage around Episode 9 also said Season 12 is pacing 29 percent ahead of last season. Kimmi's wish for whatever comes next was simple: "I want 200 more."
What's next: "Diss, Respect" on November 14
Huntsville does not pause for a victory lap. Episode 10, "Diss, Respect," is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, again at 8 p.m. on OWN. After that, the season listing continues with Episode 11, "Against My Father's Will," on November 21 and Episode 12, "Grilling Me Softly," on November 28.

See you next Sunday, fan family. If last night was any indication, 200 episodes in, nobody in Huntsville is out of things to say.
